Joe Boutique
Shoes, watches, fragrance and tailoring in Montego Bay. In this category the decision is made on taste long before it is made on price, so the site had to carry the brand first and the stock second.

A boutique is judged in about three seconds, on whether it looks like it knows what it is doing.
Does this brand have taste?
Is it worth the trip into town?
Tools and systems that turn a visitor into a customer — not a brochure with Joe Boutique's logo on it.
Full-bleed spreads between the shelves, so browsing feels like turning pages rather than scanning a grid. The longest page we have built — deliberately, because the length is the browse.
A black ground, one serif wordmark, and the products arriving quietly around it as the page comes to rest.
The Office, The Weekend, The Occasion, Travel — the stock regrouped around the occasions men actually shop for, so a browse has a way in.
Watches and fragrance get their own full-width treatments rather than a row of thumbnails, because that is where the margin and the aspiration live.
New arrivals, prices and sold-out states are a two-minute job in the owner's own dashboard — not a support ticket and a wait.
Most of this traffic arrives on a phone, so the editorial layout was designed at that width first rather than shrunk down to it.
The temptation with a boutique is to fill the page. This one does the opposite — a black ground, one wordmark, and room around everything. Space is the most expensive-looking thing you can put on a page, and it costs nothing to buy.
A boutique lives or dies on how the pieces are shot, so every section is built to give an image room instead of competing with it. The layout's job here is to get out of the way.
A clothing shop that looks the same in November as it did in August is a shop people stop visiting. The catalogue is edited from the same dashboard the owner already uses, which is what keeps a site current after the launch excitement wears off.
